Top price per head was for heavy Texels from Messrs Burns, Craignell at £100. Top per kg was 230.2 for handy Beltex from Craigview, Springholm. 202 Blackface hoggs sold to £91 for heavyweights from Chirmorrie, Barrhill and to 208.5ppk from Speddoch, Shawhead with export weights to 206.1 from Chirmorrie, Barrhill.
253 Cast sheep were much sharper on the week being £5 – £10 up throughout, topping at £107.50 for Texel rams from Rascarrel. Greyface ewes sold to £79.50 from Valleyhead with Blackface to £69.50 from Speddoch.
