Dumfries Y Gymnasts Perform Well at the Cumbernauld Celebration of Life Competition

Gymnasts from Dumfries Y Gymnastics Club’s 4-Piece Competitive squad travelled to Cumbernauld Gymnastics Club to take part in their Celebration of Life Levels Competition this weekend.

In the Level 6 Age 9 Years competition Sophie Collins and Macey Byers placed 2nd= on Vault.

In the Level 6 Age 10 Years competition Kara Forson placed 2nd on Vault, 5th on Bars, 8th on Beam and was awarded a Bronze medal for finishing 3rd overall.  Marcie Gourlay placed 1st on Vault and 7th on Bars, Connie Hulme placed 3rd on Floor and 9th on Vault and Hope Humphreys placed 4th on Vault.

In the Level 6 Age 11 Years competition Ellie Prentice placed 2nd on Beam, 4th on Floor, 5th on Vault finishing 8th overall.

In the Level 5 Age 10 Years competition Eilidh Ramsay placed 1st on Beam, 2nd on Vault, 9th on Floor, 10th on Bars and won a Silver medal for finishing 2nd overall.

In the Level 5 Age 11 Years category Gemma Todd placed 4th on Vault, 4th on Floor, 5th on Beam and was awarded with a Ribbon for finishing 5th overall.

In the Level 5 Age 12/13 Years competition Lauren True placed 3rd on Beam and 7th on Vault.

Level 6 Age 9 Years

Sophie Collins 41.65, Macey Byers 40.3

Level 6 Age 10 Years

Kara Forson 44.6, Marcie Gourlay 43.65, Hope Humphreys 42.7, Connie Hulme 41.85

 

Level 6 Age 11 Years

Ellie Prentice 41.75

 

Level 5 Age 10 Years

Eilidh Ramsay 44.4

 

Level 5 Age 11 Years

Gemma Todd 42.45

 

Level 5 Age 12-13 Years

Lauren True 42.85

 

Members of the Boy’s Floor and Vault squad will travel to Perth this weekend to compete in the Scottish Gymnastics Floor and Vault competition.
