Dumfries and Galloway College has teamed up with Scottish Championship football club Queen of the South (QoS) F.C. up to announce a new course.
The Sports and Recreation Skills for Work – QoS F.C. will see students gain real world experience of how a football club works as well as learning essential sports skills at its Dumfries campus.
Running for 12 weeks between 14 March and 13 June 2022, the exciting new programme will also provide students with the opportunity to take part in match day activities as well as working with the team’s training, local community activities, and breakfast club.
Students will leave the course with a SQA National 5 qualification and will be equipped with the skills and unique experience required to build a career in the sports industry or progress into further study.
The college are taking applications for Sports and Recreation Skills for Work – QoS FC at present and their staff will assist all prospective students through the application process to enable them to participate in this exciting opportunity.
