Dumfries and Galloway Kart racer 11 year old Kieran Conchie enjoyed further success recently in his 2nd and 3rd outings in the MiniMax class.
The Heathhall Primary pupil qualified 3rd out of 19 drivers at the National NKF meeting at Wigan and took another 2nd place finish at West of Scotland kart club.
Kieran told DGWGO Sports News “I was over the moon with how Wigan went and things are looking positive for next year. Clan racing coach Andy Fairley has been amazing working with me to adapt to the challenge of the new much faster class.
Coach Andrew Fairley said “Kieran has adapted well to a step up in age group which not only includes a bigger kart but a lot more power and speed. Already he is exploring the limits of the equipment. We are preparing well now for next year and are really looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
