Kieran Conchie 9 year old Heathhall primary pupil had his best win yet when competing in the NKF Clubman Championship round 4 at The West of Scotland Kart Club in Larkhall on Sunday the 19th of June 2016.
At his home race Kieran drove flawlessly and achieved his best ever result in karting in a grid of 32 cadets with drivers upto 13 years old. Picking his way through the grid in his three heats Kieran bagged strong points and in heat 2 made up 12 places in the short 7 minutes he had.
Kieran told DGWGO Sports News “To do this on Father’s Day was awesome with my dad doing the mechanics and mum & sister there too cheering me on. This is my biggest win yet with really tough competition and changing weather I had to concentrate really hard”.
Kieran would like to thank Andy of Clan Racing who mentored him through the heats to chequered flag in the final.
