Sharks found themselves on the back foot with a penalty to kill, despite a decent shot
attempt by Circenis, the Sharks returned to full strength with a successful PK.

powerplay with Sladovsky dangling it past defence to hit the back of the net.

Shark’s fans wouldn’t need to wait long for the call to be answered as Phantom’s Bowering
lost the puck on to Dunbar on the blue line, passing to Gardiner who struck the puck through the 5-hole for the Sharks to draw level.

An unfortunate hit on Buglass by Peacock results in a 5-minute major penalty – The Sharks
had their work cut out for them.A tight defensive formation kept the Phantoms attacks at bay, until they eventually broke through with a shot tipped in by Padelek. Phantoms still on power play, it would be less than a minute before the Sharks conceded a 3rd goal.

goal by Dunbar brings this back to a one goal game. Hepburn continues his form with
another save from a shot by Bowering. 10 minutes left to play as Sharks get their first power play with a call on Speirs. With one goal in it Sharks try to make the most of the upper hand, but Phantoms hold on.

The Sharks are throwing everything at this game, including Stenton, as he throws himself in front of the goal to force Phantoms to pass instead of shoot. Alderson would get this chance with an attempt on goal with a top corner shot, but Marr kept the puck out the net.
Phantom’s score a 4th as Ferrara receives a pass from Gretton and skates in from the wing
to score.
