Stewartry Rugby Club, Sirens Women, Sharkettes (U15 & 18 Girls) based at Greenlaw, Castle Douglas are seeking volunteers who are up for a challenge.
The Sirens will be starting their 3rd season in the SRU Premier League and the current squad, including a number who started as Sharkettes, would like to maintain Premiere league status – so that the regions most talented players can play against the best teams in Scotland! 🏴
Women’s rugby in Scotland is changing, from August 2019. The… SRU Premiere League will move from 8 to 6 teams. There will be completion from clubs to be selected to play in the new Premiere league. Clubs have to apply to the SRU by September 2018.
To allow the best opportunity for girls and women’s rugby to flourish within the region we are looking for volunteers e.g:
– Manager
– Coach
– Organiser
Who are willing to help the girls and women to develop as players (all abilities welcome)
