Galloway Branch of the Pony Club Take Part In Tetrathlon Mini Camp

Four junior members of Galloway Branch of the Pony Club travelled to Kilgraston School in Perthshire for the Scottish Tetrathlon Annual Mini Camp. It was the first camp for everyone, but after a fab weekend it won’t be the last! An action packed two days saw the three older girls, Laura Donnan, Megan McIlwraith and Erin Jamieson, being coached in running, swimming, pellet and laser shooting, some conditioning training and even fencing.

Cara Jamieson had a lovely morning on the Saturday with a mini intro competition of swimming, running and bean bag throwing where she came home with a 4th place. Many thanks to Scottish tetrathlon for organising such a fun event where so many memories and friends have been made.

The next event for Galloway Pony Club is an open show jumping day in the October holidays on Saturday 27th October at Carty Port, by kind permission of the Forsyth family.  All welcome, more information at https://branches.pcuk.org/galloway/
