10 year old Heathhall primary pupil Kieran Conchie dominated in wet conditions at West of Scotland Kart Club in Larkhall.
Kieran stormed through the field to win all 3 qualifying heats to put him on pole for the final. After a great start Kieran led his class final from lights to flag and now mearly needs to start the final round next month to secure the 2016 championship.
Kieran said “I was really motivated this weekend knowing I could put the championship to bed and also a proud doonhamer in my first outing with my Anderson Kilts Queen of the South tartan helmet. It was really tricky conditions in the wet so I had to really concentrate and pick my braking points carefully.
