ESSENTIAL MAINTENANCE ON A75 EAST OF RIVER ANNAN BRIDGE COMMENCES 31st MAY
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking essential maintenance on the A75 east of River Annan Bridge between Monday 31st May and Thursday 3rd June 2021 (inclusive).
The scheme with a value of £212,000 will benefit road users by improving the condition of the carriageway and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in future.
This work will be completed using an overnight convoy system from 7pm to 6am, each night, from Monday 31st May to Thursday 3rd June 2021. On Tuesday 1st June 2021 between 06:00 and 12:00 and Thursday 3rd June 2021 between 09:30 and 15:00, it is also required to implement temporary traffic lights.
Our operatives will follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance.
Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
