Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the Network Management Contract for the South West Trunk Road Unit, are undertaking essential scour remediation works on the A75 at Barlae, Bridge of Dee, Castle Douglas.
Work will take place from Tuesday 1st June until Wednesday 30th June 2021 between the hours of 9am and 4:30pm, each day.
The work, which protects the structure from scour and reduces the need for future maintenance, will be carried out under a single lane closure of the A75 eastbound carriageway. Temporary traffic signals will be installed at this location and we thank road users for their patience while this essential maintenance is underway.
Our operatives and sub-contractor will follow strict physical distancing and hygiene protocols throughout the programme, in line with the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance.
