Electric Fields, Scotland’s best small festival, are delighted to announce that Foxygen, Fatherson, Temples, Nothing, Whyte Horses, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Pins, Wuh Oh, Skjor, Edwin Organ, Stillhound, Divine, Rogue Emperor, Declan Welsh &The Decadent West, Shogun, Rascalton, The Medicine Men, Dave Wakeling’s The Beat and Modern Studies will be joining them at this year’s festival.
Joining the electronic line-up on the Sneaky Pete’s stage is Athens of the North, Lee Clark, Melting Pot, Soul Jam, Teesh and Wasabi Disco.
As well as an amazing musical line-up, Electric Fields have invited Scotland’s finest wordsmiths Neu! Reekie! to curate a fantastic line-up of spoken word, comedy & an- imation. Joining their stage are some of the best from across the UK: Jackie Kay, Liz Lochhead, Hollie McNish, Jenni Fagan, Billy Letford, Alan Bissett, Louie & The Lochbacks, Janette Ayachi, Lelya Josephine, Jim Monaghan, Iona Lee, Michael Pedersen, Kevin Williamson, Will Anderson & Ainslie Henderson (Animation Showcase), Carla J Easton (Teen Canteen) and a very special perfor- mance by Frightened Rabbit’s Scott Hutchison.
New for this year EF also has stages put together by two of Scotland’s foremost au- thorities on new and exciting music, with the Tenement TV Discover Stage, and a new stage curated by BBC Radio Scotland’s Vic Galloway, both championing passionate and exciting music from around the UK and further afield.
Returning to the stunning grounds of the 17th Century Drumlanrig Castle in Dum- fries & Galloway for its fourth outing, Electric Fields offers its most diverse musical line-up to date. Always striving to showcase the most exciting music around at the moment, Electric Fields offers festival goers a weekend of top class music, amazing food and great entertainment with an intimate, community atmosphere.
As well as an amazing musical lineup, Electric Fields will this year be expanding its food and drink area with Edinburgh’s The Pitt creating a new bespoke Food Village, and we’ll be hosting our very own Ale and Craft Beer Festival. For the young one’s the “Our Kids Electric” area returns with a whole host of entertainment and work- shops and of course, the legendary adventure playground is a hop skip and a jump away!
