Croma Vigilant Bring Top National Award Home To D&G

Croma Vigilant are honoured to have been awarded the Security Training Initiative of the Year at the Security Excellence Awards 2016. The award was given for their work within the NHS environment and saw them scooping the award in the face of stiff competition. The criteria for this award was to actively promote best practice within the security sector and show clear results of having done so.

Operations Director, Paul Williamson and Contracts Manager Stuart Clark, proudly collected this national award which recognises excellence in security training. The panel identified the companies bespoke patient care training program, as an excellent example of a tailored training package, which equips security personnel with the necessary skills to deploy into the NHS, on both bedwatch and security duties. Bedwatch has previously been deemed to have required healthcare professionals, however, this training initiative collates the key elements needed to professionally care for vulnerable or aggressive patients. This demonstrates that a security mindset, combined with the correct training, is an effective model to prevent and contain incidents.

Paul Williamson, Operations Director commented; ‘We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Security Training Initiative of the Year at the Security Excellence Awards 2016. The training program we have developed at the NHS is another great example of the dedication, training and genuine care we invest into every client. I would like to thank my dedicated team of managers, officers and office staff who all contribute significantly to the Croma Brand. We are proud to have our roots cemented in Dumfries and are very proud of the local talent which has enabled us to develop this training program. We are one of the biggest employers in
