ONE WEEK LEFT TO NOMINATE FOR THE SCOTTISH RURAL AWARDS

Now in their third year, the Scottish Rural Awards are the only awards to truly champion the Scottish countryside, celebrating the enterprise and innovation of those who live and work in rural Scotland. It would be wonderful to get as many Dumfries and Galloway businesses as possible involved .

Founded by Scottish Field and the Scottish Countryside Alliance, the Scottish Rural Awards are backed by a number of category sponsors for 2017, including the Bank of Scotland, Aldi and the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland.

With a total of 12 award categories, businesses can choose to self-nominate, or may be nominated by a friend, family member or customer, before Friday 14th October.

Nominations for 2017 are off to an excellent start following the official launch of nominations at the Scottish Parliament on the 8th September, where each attending MSP was encouraged to nominate a business from within their constituency.

You can nominate somebody from Dumfries and Galloway that you think deserves the recognition by clicking HERE

Shortlists will be announced at the end of November, with awards presented at the annual gala dinner, set to take place at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh on 16th March 2017.
