Alan, Michael, Callum and Craig the ‘Barnkirk Lads’ are hoping to raising £500 to help Newton Stewart Activity and Resource Centre, to fund making the garden beautiful. The ‘Barnkirk Lads’ are running a 5K on 3rd April to support fundraising.
A Spokesperson for Newton Stewart Activity and Resource Centre, a Day Service run by Dumfries and Galloway Council for adults who need support said “After a long year with little work being able to be done, The garden at ARC is in need of a little TLC. The ‘Barnkirk Lads’ have very kindly offered to complete a 5K run in Newton Stewart to fundraise for the ARC, helping to make the outdoor area moor enjoyable for the people we support. We want to brighten the place up and make this a lovely space for people to sit and enjoy the outdoor environment.” donate please click HERE
