CASTLE DOUGLAS TESCO STAFF GIVE DONATION TO DGRI IN MEMORY OF BILLY

Staff from Tesco Castle Douglas visited The Critical Care Unit at DGRI this week and presented a cheque for £800 , in memory of Billy Mitchell, who sadly passed away recently.

Billy was the trolly collector and was a well known face at the Castle Douglas branch of Tesco, always saying hello and giving a smile to shoppers as he got on with his work.

Trish Grierson from Tesco’s said “The £800 was very kindly donated by customers and colleagues in our store. Our picture shows Senior Charge Nurse, Laura White, along with two colleagues, accepting the cheque. Thank you again to everyone for your generous donations.”
