Former Soldier From Dumfries Walks 8700 miles Armed Forces Charity

Scots former gunner Dan McNeil from Dumfries is on a fundraising walk around the entire UK coastline for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity and he is currently in Cumbria, heading towards the Scottish Border.

 

On the 15th of March 2021 Daniel McNeil set off to walk the entire UK coastline, including its islands for the Armed Forces charity SSAFA.

 

So far Daniel has raised over £26,700.00 with a target of £30,000.00.

 

Daniel finishes in Dalbeattie, Sandyhills on the 18th of November. At 12 pm. An open event where everyone is invited to come along the witness this outstanding achievement. At 5 pm there is an after party at Castle Douglas Royal British Legion.

 

Daniel is currently walking towards Ravenglass in Cumbria, and will cross the border at Scotland in roughly 7 days.
