Toe Poke, Scotland’s only fans owned football sports brand, operated by a social enterprise, is seeking new Directors in 2024.
The Community Interest Company has successfully launched the Toe Poke brand in 2023 and has excellent growth prospects for the future, as more and more football fans embrace the clothes and purpose of the CIC.
Toe Poke founder and Director Ian Barr said, “There is a genuine exciting opportunity for people across Dumfries and Galloway to put themselves forward to become a Director of Toe Poke CIC. If you have business skills or can dedicate time to helping this company grow I’d love to hear from you. The Company needs social media skills, design skills, accountancy support and sales expertise to grow. There is also the potential to promote Toe Poke clothing at local markets and events. If you are a football fan, or have children or grandchildren who play football in Dumfries and want to support grassroots football here do get involved. Football and business is a team game and Toe Poke needs good players in most positions!”
Toe Poke’s range of clothing, now available on the Toe Poke website, www.toepokescotland.com is aimed at fans of our national teams – before Toe Poke clothing was introduced, there was a poverty of choice for Scotland supporters who want to show off their colours, without wearing replica jerseys. When Toe Poke begins to make profits, the profits will be recycled into support for youth football in Dumfries and the work of Supporters Direct Scotland. The Company will launch a new range of clothes in April 2024 to promote Scotland’s participation in the European Championships.
