Drugs with an estimated street value of £100, 000 (one hundred thousand pounds) have been seized police in Dumfries.
Late last night, Friday 26 June 2015, officers stopped a car on the M74 near Lockerbie, and discovered the drugs, believed to be herbal cannabis, within.
A 23 year old man has been arrested and is presently detained in police custody in connection with the find.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
