A sterling effort by Annan Rotarian Jim Ferguson resulted in £864 collected over a couple of weeks the circus was in town!
Collaborating with Rotary Kirkintilloch, Jim collected at Zippos Circus in Kirkintilloch. He was then joined by Rotary Annan and District friend and ex-member Rob Wilkinson from Rotary Eastwood, collecting together at Circus Extreme in Silverburn.
Each club benefitted from a marvellous opportunity to work together and to reach out on behalf of Rotary. Throughout, Jim was joined by Rotary supporter Lawrence who was a great addition to the team.
Jim said “We had a great time at the circus and we are in talks with Circus Extreme to make Annan area a stop for the circus from spring next year”
