Cash Machine Stolen From Old Blacksmiths Shop – Gretna Green

Police Scotland is investigating the theft of an ATM cash machine and contents from the premises at the Old Blacksmiths Shop at Gretna Green.

Sometime overnight Thursday 1/Friday 2 June 2017 the premises were broken into and the cash machine was stolen. There is no indication at this stage how much money might have been in the machine when it was stolen.

Detective Sergeant Hugh McCombe said, “enquiries are at an early stage however it is clear that this theft would have required a number of people and a vehicle to remove this cash machine. We want to hear from anyone who may have been in the Gretna Green area, on Thursday 1 or into the early hours of Friday 2 June 2017 to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious.
