£200 of Whisky Stolen in Early Morning Raid – Gretna Green

Police Scotland officers are carrying out enquiries in Gretna Green area after a break-in to the Hamper and Home Store at the Blacksmith Centre in the town. 

Around 5.00am this morning, Tuesday 14 March 2017 the alarm was activated at the premises and a number of bottles of Whisky to the value of £200 have been stolen.

Constable Andrew Aitken at Gretna said “we want to hear from anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the the Blacksmith Centre around this time.

“We will be reviewing CCTV and carrying out door to door enquires however anyone with information about this crime should get in touch with us on the 101 number.”
