Police Scotland officers at Lockerbie are investigating a housebreaking that took place near to Haggs Recreation Ground in Ecclefechan.
About 11:40am on Wednesday 19th April, a nearby neighbour observed a male break into the property and contacted Police. The male is described as around early 20’s, 5ft 10, slim build, wearing a dark coloured cap, black jacket and combat style trousers. As a result of being disturbed by the neighbour the male appears to have fled empty handed.
Constable Stephen Glendinning said, “Investigations are at a very early stage however I would be keen to hear from anyone that may have seen the male as described or anyone else, including any vehicles that were hanging around the Haggs Recreation Ground area around that time.
