Police Probe Spate Of Overnight Vandalism – Lockerbie

Police Scotland officers in Lockerbie are investigating a number of vandalisms that took place sometime overnight Wednesday 29/Thursday 30 March 2017.

In the first incident a window at Lochmaben Primary School was broken between 1600 hours on 29th and 0720 hours on 30th March. In further incidents a poly tunnel at Lockerbie Academy was also damaged and the rear window of a silver Peugeot 308 motor car, which was parked in Redhall Road, Templand was smashed the same night. A window at Kirk Loch Caravan Park was also broken sometime between 1630 hours and 1200 hours, again overnight on 29/30 March 2017.

Constable Terence Robertson at Lockerbie said “Having carried out enquires we understand a dark coloured vehicle with a loud exhaust has been heard near to the locus of a number of the vandalisms. We will be reviewing CCTV and carrying out door to door enquiries however I would ask anyone that has information that may assist our enquiries contact Police at Lockerbie on the 101 number”.
