POLICE SCOTLAND are investigating a number of offences, including an alleged robbery that took place at a news agents in Galloway Street in Dumfries shortly after 6 AM this morning, Wednesday the 20th of Febryary 2019.
A police spokesperson stated “You may see a number of police officers and vehicles in the area, however we wish to reassure the local community, although the investigation is at an early stage, a man has been arrested and is currently in police custody.”
