A trainee Christmas fairy has fluttered into Dumfries and will be taking to the stage to give local families a very special treat just ahead of the big day.
Tinsel (aka Jack Finlay) is joining the Electric Theatre Workshop and the Dumfries Community Choir to put on a lovely, lively show full of laughter, music and festive song.
White Christmas will be an hour of pleasantly interactive entertainment – audience members will be able to spin the big wheel to decide which songs the choir performs.
And there will be hot chocolate and mince pies all round to keep out the chill and add to the festive spirit.
Graham Main, Electric Theatre Workshop Director, said: “Christmas is about family, community and tradition – this show will bring people together to celebrate the very best about the season of goodwill.
“The choir are really looking forward to performing all sorts of festive favourites and to getting everyone singing along. And Tinsel will bring some extra sparkle as she waves her wand and puts everyone under a special festive spell.
“We hope this will be a real treat for people and get them in just the right mood to enjoy a really happy Christmas and look forward to a fantastic new year. And we’ll be asking the Christmas Fairy to cast a spell so everyone gets the presents they want.”
White Christmas takes place on Monday 21 and Wednesday 23 December at 8pm.
Ticket prices are £9.50 for adults and £5.50 for children with all proceeds going to help fund the Electric Theatre Workshop and its community initiatives in Dumfries and the surrounding area.
