For decades, The Oak was the heart of Dumfries—a place where friendships were made, stories unfolded, and (let’s be honest) the odd sneaky pint was enjoyed!

More recently, during lockdown, it became The Secret Garden & The Winter Garden, creating unforgettable moments for many.

Now, after years of silence, this iconic space is being reborn—completely reimagined, with a bold new look and an incredible dining experience unlike anything Dumfries has seen before.

A brand-new standalone restaurant that’s completely different from the hotel above yet still rooted in the heart of the community. With a stylish new interior, a menu designed to impress, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we hope the restaurant becomes a go-to spot for both casual dining and special occasions.
