Creative cooks have until 4 February to produce the perfect Platinum Pudding, one fit for a Queen.

Fortnum and Mason is running a competition as part of celebrations to mark the Platinum Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth.

The judging panel includes Dame Mary Berry, Masterchef judge Monica Galetti, and Buckingham Palace head chef Mark Flanaghan.

Whether it’s steamed or baked, layered or rolled, pie or crumble, the judges say a good pudding is made with passion and pride. They’re hoping that the winning recipe will be handed down over generations. Just think, we’ve been eating Coronation Chicken for 70 years!
