During the month of March the team at Dumfries based business, Thomsons Foodservice are aiming to walk the entire area of Dumfries and Galloway. This is 2481 miles or 5,239,872 steps.
A Spokesperson from Thomsons Foodservice said “Supporting local businesses and the wider community is something we at Thomsons care deeply about. That is why we have decided during the month of March to walk the total area of Dumfries and Galloway to raise money for Cash for Kids and support local children in need. Every penny we raise will be going straight back to the local community with just £35 needed to help support one child. You Can Donate HERE.
Our team of twenty-four employees are all taking part in the challenge and are hoping that we can raise enough to make a difference for those in need. We will also be posting weekly update on our progress on social media in order for the public to track our progress.
