Kirkcudbright Food Festival 2017 Really Has Something To ‘Singh’ About

Returning to Kirkcudbright Food Festival in October this year after his first appearance in 2014, Scottish Celebrity Chef Tony Singh (McTSingh) will headline the popular Festival’s ‘West Coast’ Stage on Sunday 22nd October!

Tony is a Scottish chef and restaurateur based in Edinburgh, best known for combining his love of Scottish produce with his quirky eclectic style of cooking influenced from around the world.Well-known as one half of “The Incredible Spice Men” Tony is highly respected chef within the culinary industry and beyond, and in 2016 was awarded an MBE from the Queen for his services to the food and drink industry.

A spokesperson for the festival said “We are excited to have Tony with us again this year and hope you all enjoy his appearances too.

Join us for a weekend of fabulous food, food innovation, street food, food education, diversification, demonstrations and more. We have something for every foodie available from coastal forage walks to cooking demonstrations with one of the country’s leading chefs.

Our producers will wow you with their spectacular wares and tell you all about themselves. Join in on talks, enjoy the wonderful Gin Bar, feast on delicious food, learn where it all comes from, eat, drink, laugh, blether and most of all have a wonderful time at our new Kirkcudbright Food Festival.

The event runs from the 22nd to 23rd of October this year and  is part of the  Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities
