Youth Beatz Festival is back for another year in Dumfries, and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever before. Youth Beatz takes place over a 10-day period, with the Youth Beatz Fringe taking place across every Ward area of Dumfries and Galloway in the lead up to the two main event days on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June at Park Farm, Dumfries.
The main event days will be attended by 20,000 people per day, and Youth Beatz 2026 will continue to deliver a wide range of fun activities, musical performances from local and emerging young talent from across Dumfries and Galloway, as well as welcoming the following acts:
Example
Crossover dance music icon Example has been maintaining years of momentum with chart topping singles, career defining festival sets, sold out tours and multiple platinum records. As an iconic figure, loving father and artist, Example is the front man of multiple generations. Having spent well over a decade in the game, the UK mainstay has crafted a career drenched in accolades. The past two years have been extremely busy for live performances – Glastonbury, Creamfields, IOW Festival, RFM SOMNII, Bestival, Latitude, Benicassim and TRNSMT are just a few of the many festivals shows he has been booked to perform. With a legacy of hit singles, show-stopping festival sets, packed-out tours, and platinum milestones, Example isn’t just keeping up – he’s setting the pace, breaking new ground with every track.
Example said:
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be heading back to Dumfries to perform at Youth Beatz. Scottish audiences are legendary for their energy, and I’m sure this summer will be the same.”
The Vamps Present Up All Night
Tristan and Connor, two electrifying members of The Vamps, proudly present The Vamps Present Up all Night – a DJ set with a twist. The dynamic show blends the best party hits of the past two decades with signature Vamps anthems, all infused with live guitar riffs and vibrant percussion. Tristan and Connor are ready to redefine the party scene with an unforgettable, high-energy performance.
“We cannot wait to get on stage at Youth Beatz, we always love playing in Scotland and can’t wait to see everyone this June.”

Italian DJ and producer Hypaton has risen to international acclaim with highlights including ‘Outta My Head’ with Normal Jean Martine, RAYE remix of ‘Where is my Husband?’ with David Guetta and the official remix of David Guetta, Teddy Swims, Tones and I’s ‘Gone, Gone, Gone’. Hypaton continues to command the global dance scene, shaping the next wave of electronic music
Levi Heron
Levi Heron is a DJ-producer from the Isle of Lewis. He describes his music as a mix of “bouncy techno”, “hardstyle bangers” and “ceil-tech”: a fusion of ceilidh – or traditional Scottish dance music – with modern electronic styles. After uploading his remix of ‘The Glen’ to SoundCloud and sharing a clip on TikTok, it became a social media phenomenon.
Caity Baser
Caity Baser is a rising British singer-songwriter known for her infectious pop anthems and unapologetic energy. Bursting onto the music scene through viral success on TikTok, she has quickly established herself as one of the most exciting new voices in UK pop.
Her sound blends elements of pop, R&B and indie, drawing comparisons to artists like Lily Allen and Charli XCX while maintaining a distinct, fearless style of her own. In 2023, her breakout EP, ‘Thanks for Nothing, See You Never,’ cemented her status as a pop star.
As well as featuring well-known UK acts, Youth Beatz Festival is proud to have local performers taking their place on the Main Stage programme for this year’s event, with a wide range of acts from across Dumfries and Galloway.
A council spokesperson said:
“We are thrilled to once again share the details of this year’s Youth Beatz Festival. Youth Beatz offers young people throughout Dumfries and Galloway an incredible festival experience in their local area along with valuable opportunities for volunteering such as participating in the immersive youth-led drama production, The Toon. We can’t wait to welcome young people from Dumfries and Galloway as well as the rest of Scotland to Park Farm on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June.”
The Toon will continue to expand for 2026, with the hard-hitting interactive drama production gearing up for another year as one of the festival’s biggest features. The Toon is designed and delivered by local young people from across Dumfries and Galloway and provides young people attending Youth Beatz with informative and accurate information and advice when dealing with issues that commonly affect their lives. The issues displayed in the production are chosen by the young people, and include poverty, sectarianism, drugs and alcohol and sexual health to name a few.
The Youth Work Area will also be back for this year’s festival and will contain some old favourites such as creative activities, a youth information zone, chill out areas and the opportunity to win meet and greet tickets to see your favourite acts through exciting competitions.
As well as the Main Stage, Youth Beatz 2026 will have a stage that will focus on up-and-coming young performers from across Dumfries and Galloway. The Up Yer Airts Stage, delivered in partnership with Arts DG, will showcase the talents of young people from across our region on both event days.
Sophie Cluckie, Youth Councillor from Newton Stewart, who hosted the launch event said:
“Youth Beatz gives young people across our region the chance to come together, have fun, and feel part of something big, no matter their background. It is an opportunity to relax, listen to music and be in a different environment without the worry of spending hundreds of pounds. There is something for absolutely everyone which is what makes it a truly unique festival and we should feel privileged to have it so close to our homes.”
Youth Beatz Festival is grateful to be supported by several funders for this year’s event, including The National Lottery Young Start Fund, Alcohol and Drug Partnership, Awards for All Scotland and Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Tickets for this year’s festival were made available on the launch night, and all 40,000 tickets have been allocated in record time. Further information on this year’s festival can be found on the official Youth Beatz website – www.youthbeatz.co.uk.
