Auchencairn Welcomes Delights From Across the Region as Spring Gets Underway

Food and drink producers, artists and makers from Dumfries and Galloway will fill Auchencairn Village Hall with their wares on Saturday 27th May.

The fair will have something for everyone from treats from InHouse Chocolates in Castle Douglas and Galloway Chillies in Wigtown to gifts and homewares from Puffin Patchworks, based in Creetown and Aldaron Woodcrafts in Glentrool.

We’ve tried to bring as much variety from as many corners of the region as possible,” says organiser Katie Olley, who runs Shed Sewn from the bottom of her garden in Auchencairn. “There’s so much talent in the region and it’s great to have an opportunity to showcase it.”
There will also be a tea room for visitors to rest up and review their purchases with a fine array of cakes made locally.
“They were a real hit at our fair before Christmas,” says Katie. “It’s definitely a date in the diary not to be missed.”

Entry to the fair is free and everyone is welcome.
