Castle Kennedy Garden Opens Daily with Egg-stra Special Easter Egg Trail!

Spring is in the air at Castle Kennedy Gardens as they celebrate their daily opening with the launch of the Egg-stra special Easter Egg Trail.

The fun starts on Saturday 24th March and runs until Sunday 15th April with families being invited to get cracking with an egg-citing new Easter Egg trail throughout the spectacular gardens. Children are challenged to look for riddles hidden around the Gardens and complete their entry form before handing it into the Garden Shop where they will be rewarded with a yummy chocolate Easter egg.  And that’s not all, each completed entry forms will be placed into a draw for a chance to win a Family ticket to the Open Air Theatre production of Dr Dolittle by Illyria performed in the Gardens on the 2nd August.

Visitors to the Gardens can expect to see early flowering Camellias and Rhododendrons as well as swathes of daffodils, the beautifully dainty snowdrop can still be spotted throughout the woodland walks making this an ideal time of year to explore these extensive Gardens.

The Garden Tearoom also reopens following a programme of maintenance over the winter months offering deliciously moorish soup, scrummy cream teas, indulgent home baking including our signature cakes, all for visitors to enjoy against the backdrop of the stunningly ruined Castle Kennedy. There is a full menu on offer to visitors with something for everyone to enjoy.

The Plant Centre and Gift Shop will also be open giving visitors an importunity to browse a wide selection of gifts and plants.
