KPT Development Trust are delighted to announce the dates of Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 August for the Celebration of Cycling 2022. Again, our funders Cycling Scotland and D&G Events have assisted in the financial support to deliver this Event.
Both days are open form 10am to 3pm, with an action packed itinerary of cycling related activities and fun challenges. Saturday 20th features our highlight activity, is the popular Muckmedden Pump Tracks, who will have all sorts of tricks and challenges on their circuits.
There’s the fruit smoothie bikes, where you select your fruit and pedal to blend your smoothie! Sustrans are delivering a series of cycling skills and learn to ride for tots and parents. Balance bikes will be provided.
The local Community café will have a stand with food, snacks and drinks available.
Sunday 21st is the Mass Led Bike ride. This is a scenic, leisurely ride suitable for all age groups and abilities. There will road closured and Cycling Scotland qualified leaders on the route.

This weekend of ‘all things cycling’ is shaping up to be a fun, active and entertaining weekend for all ages.
