Christmas Craft Fair Returns to Netherby Hall

NETHERBY Hall’s popular Christmas Craft Fair returns this month with more stallholders than ever before.

More than 30 artisan makers and craftspeople will be at the event which takes place over the weekend of Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19 at the historic house and gardens near Longtown, Carlisle.

Stallholders will be setting up shop in the Hall’s Oak Hall and Orangery, with free entry and free parking for visitors. Open from 10am to 3pm, the dog-friendly event will also feature festive food and drink, and visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Walled Garden and grounds.

Kim Capstick, Operations Manager at Netherby Hall, said: “Over the years, the Christmas Craft Fair has become our official start of Christmas and we can’t wait to transform Netherby Hall into a festive hub showcasing independent local and regional crafters and artists. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get into the festive spirit and shop for unique gifts that you won’t find on the high street.”

Netherby Hall’s Christmas Fair is part of a series of events held throughout the year at Grade II* listed mansion. Organised by its events team, they include a Spring Fair, an annual car show, and a series of classical music concerts. This year’s New Year’s Eve Ceilidh features one of the UK’s finest ceilidh bands, Cragganmore, who will be taking the stage to lead the dancing and celebrations in the Oak Hall.

Set on a private estate, Netherby Hall is home to nine luxury self-catering holiday cottages and apartments.
