Fancy enrolling your little ones in Elf School? With the school holidays over and just four months until Christmas, the whole family can look forward to one of the highlights of the Dumfries & Galloway festive calendar at Hetland Garden Centre and Dino Park.
Owners David and Karen Wilson announce the Hetland Christmas programme including traditional favourites and some new activities for 2019 – including Elf School for Santa’s Little Helpers!
Online booking is open now for Christmas at Hetland, which starts in November with festive fun for the whole family – even the furry four-legged ones – with the return of Santa’s Grotto and a first time at Hetland for Santa Paws; a Christmas Grotto for dogs and their owners – which includes a gift and a photo opportunity with Santa.
David looks forward to another busy Christmas at Hetland for 2019 with a packed programme:
“Our team have worked hard on this year’s festive fun. As well as our new Santa Paws grotto, we’ve introduced Hetland’s Elf School – a school for Santa’s little helpers where little ones become fully fledged Elves, learn the Elf Code, and take part in Christmas arts and crafts before graduating from Elf School with a Certificate and a present from Santa. We think it’s a great addition to our festive calendar of events and complements our traditional Santa’s Grotto”
Elf School sessions run each Friday from 6th to 20th December, and early online booking is recommended for all Hetland Garden Centre Christmas events.
“We’re also delighted to welcome Santa’s reindeer back for Christmas 2019 – visitors can even feed the reindeer – and our famous Dino Park dinosaurs will be decorated with thousands of lights for our Illuminated Winter Walkway Lights Switch On at an exciting ticket-only event on Thursday 21st November”
Following the special switch on event, the spectacular Dino Park Illuminated Walkway will be open to visitors up to Christmas from 4pm to 5.15pm.
Early booking is recommended for all Hetland Christmas activities.
