Come And Watch The Cows & Calves At Cream O Galloway Go Out To Grass

The cows and calves at Rainton Farm, home of  the Cream O Galloway Visitors Centre are going out to pasture on Sunday the 28th of April 2019 at 11.00am and they’re inviting you to watch!

A  spokesperson at Cram o Galloway told DGWGO “At this once a year family friendly event you’ll hear a little bit about the background to our farm. We’ll then take a short walk (5 mins) down the hill from our visitor centre to the dairy. You’ll watch as the cows and their calves head out of their winter home to enjoy the delicious Galloway grass.
They will be full of excitement as they take their calves out to pasture for the first time. You’ll be able to watch as they run and leap about – it’s great fun for the cows and we are delighted to be able to share this experience with visitors to our farm.
There is no charge to take part in this event, although standard Cream o’ Galloway Visitor Centre entry charges apply if you want to stay and play aftewards.
Please note we will be filming this event and we may invite a few visitors to tell us what they think about the cows going out with their calves. If you or your children would like to take part in saying a few words to the camera please let us know.”

Meeting point is the Visitor Centre at 11am sharp. The event will last around half an hour.
