Graveyard Tours And Victorian Teas Make A Return To Crossmichael This Easter

A pop up Victorian tearoom and graveyard tours are on offer this Easter weekend at Crossmichael Parish Church (DG7 3AU) near Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Galloway.

Running from Friday, April 19th till Monday April 22nd from 10am till 4pm visitors can sit and enjoy tea and coffee along with some home baking is the historical boxed pews of this 17th Century church before embarking on a tour of the old graveyard where the man who was the inspiration for Captain Hook in the Peter Pan book is buried along with Covenanters, veterans from the Charge of the Light Brigade and the final resting place of Robert Ross who died in 1547 during the siege of Kirkcudbright.

Church and graveyard tours are at 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
