Hundreds of families enjoyed a cracking day out as they celebrated the return of the Easter Sunday Fun Day at Drumlanrig Castle.
Families could choose from a range of activities from an inflatable assault course and laser tag for little ones, to axe throwing and clay pigeon shooting for older visitors.
Little ones also had the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and complete an Easter trail around the Castle Gardens. Face painting and Easter crafts also proved popular with visitors.
Anna Fergusson, Estate Director commented “We welcomed hundreds of people on Easter Sunday. It was great to see so many people delighted at the return of the event, and we can’t thank them enough for supporting it. The Gardens and Adventure Playground are now open daily until the end of September and we hope people will return to see them as they start to bloom through the Summer months.”
Drumlanrig Castle was also open at Easter with tours almost sold out.
The Castle opens again 29th April – 1st May, 28th – 29th May, and Friday – Monday in July & August. Booking can be made at drumlanrigcastle.co.uk
