The Nith Inshore Rescue team are holding their annual Open Day this Saturday at their Lifeboat Station in Glencaple near Dumfries.
The popular event will is making a return after a one year break, the Free family fun day kicks off at 1.00pm on Saturday May the 25th and finish at 4.00pm. There will be representation from partner agencies including HM Coastguard, Fire & Rescue, Moffat Mountain Rescue, Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service.
This is a very popular event and normally very well attended in previous years with numbers of attendees in the high hundreds.
