Not long now until it’s tinsel and tree time and local company Scottish Christmas Trees at Glaisters Farm Kirkgunzeon are well under way with Christmas Tree Harvest for 2019.
The full time team of 5 have been busy all year round making sure that the trees are their usual top quality and have already started responding to website orders, sending trees to homes all across the UK –including locally too! And as if that wasn’t enough they have also planted in excess of 41,000 baby trees this year.
Scottish Christmas Trees
The farm shop opens on Thursday 28th November and as usual, the team are looking forward to School Visits in the first week of December.
If you haven’t been to the farm shop before, it’s the best possible place to choose your tree. The team are on hand to help but are more than happy for you to wander round to find the special tree to suit your space. Uniquely the trees are not wrapped or netted until sold, so you are able to see the trees fully before choosing the perfect one to take home. Even better, once you have made your purchase, you will also receive a dozen fresh, free range eggs free of charge!
If you cant make it to the farm shop then the website offers the same choice of trees and stands, you can choose your preferred date and have your tree delivered to your door.
Trees include cut and pot grown and you can choose from Fraser Fir, Nordman Fir or Norway Spruce. Once the big decision is made there is always someone on hand to help load up on your vehicle.
As well as trees the shop also has a range of wreaths and Christmas tree stands available so if you are looking to ‘Keep it Real for Christmas’ then Scottish Christmas Trees at Glaisters Farm, Kirkgunzeon is the place to go!
Still not sure which tree to buy, head over to for lots of useful information on trees, the farm blog, care instructions, prices and there is even a gallery with customer trees to give you some decorating ideas. The Facebook and Instagram pages have lots of news, updates and competitions as well as customer reviews.
