“As the school summer holiday arrives, we very much hope that all staff and pupils at schools across our region have a very relaxing and happy holiday. But, we realise that, for some pupils, the long summer holiday means that time drags and that meals aren’t always available as they are during school terms. So, our Council has a programme of activities over the summer at venues including Sanquhar Fun Pool, Park Primary School in Stranraer, and Hillview Leisure Centre in Kelloholm, with breakfasts, snacks and lunch available free of charge.”
