This October Half Term at the Mull of Galloway

Climb the lighthouse this October Half Term at the Mull of Galloway. The lighthouse is open on Saturday 15th October daily until Sunday 23rd October from 10am to 4pm (last ticket sales are at 3.30pm). The lighthouse will then be open Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October.
Visit the exhibition of lighthouse history and see many fascinating artefacts on display, open daily until Sunday 30th October from 10am to 4pm. Treat yourselves to a souvenir of your visit – we have keyrings, torches, fridge magnets and more for sale. We now have the Northern Lighthouse Board 2017 calendar for sale at only £7.50.

Join the ‘Autumn Migration’ guided walks with RSPB Scotland on 18th October and 20th October from 1pm to 3pm. The Mull of Galloway is an important feeding station for birds as they head South on their migration. Flocks of migrating birds can be seen stopping off en-route to their wintering grounds. Join us for a guided walk- bring binoculars if you have them, suitable clothing and stout footwear. Price: Adults £3, Children £1.50. Under 5’s Free. RSPB members 20% off.

Gallie Craig Coffee House is open daily from 10am to 5.30pm serving an extensive selection of delicious home-made meals and a children’s menu too.

The 2016 season comes to an end on Sunday 30th October and the attractions will reopen again at Easter 2017. The reserve is open to visitors all year round. You can visit the Gallie Craig website to see the winter opening times.
