“They acknowledged his excellence as an instructor who uses presentations and assessments which are as real life as possible. His reassuring and supportive manner encourages students to reflect honestly on their learning and practical work which enriches their experience.”
Students commented:
“Brian cares deeply about his subject and about each of his students achieving their full potential. It seems to come naturally to him, which shows in his every action with us.”
“He treats us all as individuals, giving feedback and guidance in such a way that it is a positive and relevant experience for each of us. All questions and enquiries, even the most basic and oft repeated are given serious consideration and an informed response.”
“Not to do the other tutors a disservice, as all the lecturers at Barony Campus are excellent, Brian deserves to win this award as I feel he is a bit of an unsung hero and really has the students’ happiness and futures at heart.”
