Saturday night the 31st of August 2019 sees the return of the Solway Sharks, welcoming Belfast Giants to the Dumfries Ice Bowl in their first encounter of the season, and first game in the Scottish National League.
With an earlier-than-usual face off time of 6pm, and reduced adult entry prices, the rink is sure to be busy with fans keen to see the new-look team head coach Martin Grubb has put together.
Saturday also sees the return of fans favourite Sharkey, the team mascot, ready and eager to meet and greet supporters.
Solway Sharks Supporters Club representative said, “With admission prices on Saturday reduced to £5 for adults and the usual “kids for a quid” deal this is the ideal opportunity for people who have never experienced the Shark Tank on a Saturday night to come along and see what happens, as well as the chance for returning fans to come and check out our new team. Sharkey will be out and about, happy to mix with the fans and pose for photographs, and the bar will be open from an hour before the 6pm face off.”
