Dumfries & Galloway synchronized skating teams put the finishing touches to their routines last night for the Trophy D’Ecosse 2014 competition. The Solway Stars, Solway Eclipse and Solway Lightning teams wowed their supporters as they completed their final training session ahead of the competition this weekend.

The three local teams are currently reigning Scottish Champions at their respective levels and have been training rigorously in preparation for the event. Their final rehearsal showcased the high standard which audiences can expect from the competition this year.

Solway Lightning, the youngest of the local teams taking part this weekend, were first on the ice with a display of great skill and confidence. Following them the Solway Eclipse team showcased the impressive ability which has now earned them the opportunity to represent Great Britain in the coming year. Solway Stars rounded off the session with stunning speed, style and elegance – and even showed some support for DGWGO!
