As part of Transport Scotland’s strategic trunk road management programme, Amey will shortly resurface a 450m stretch of the A75 at East Braes, near Crocketford.
A daytime convoy traffic management system will be implemented in order to carry out this short resurfacing programme as quickly and safely as possible. Works will be carried out between 7.30am and 6pm each day, on the Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd of October.
In line with the Scottish Government’s COVID-19 guidance, our operatives will follow strict physical distancing protocols throughout the project.

“This short programme will be carried out under daytime convoy working, in order to reduce the impact on communities as they recover at this time. This is an important section of the trunk road network, and as such is used by emergency services, freight, retail and delivery traffic as part of their essential working. It is vital that we complete these works in order to maintain road safety.
