A joint celebration has brought together two Foundations as they mark their 10th anniversaries.
Wheatley Foundation and the Hymans Robertson Foundation both celebrate a decade of making lives better this year.
Guests from community organisations, charity partners, funders and colleagues came together at Wheatley’s headquarters yesterday (17 March) to reflect on a decade of improving life chances and supporting communities across the country.
Since their establishment in 2016, both Foundations have worked with thousands of people through programmes focused on financial wellbeing, employment and training, digital inclusion, education, and wider community support.
The event recognised the shared commitment of both organisations to helping people overcome barriers and build better futures.

The Hymans Robertson Foundation supports young people and causes that promote financial resilience, improve employability and tackle social inequality.
Wheatley Foundation and the Hymans Robertson Foundation have worked closely together since 2023 as two of the founding partners of the Wee Bursary programme in Glasgow, alongside FARE Scotland, Glasgow City Council, and Clyde Gateway.
The Wee Bursary provides young people aged 11–25 with the practical resources they need to stay engaged in positive pathways, helping to remove the financial barriers that can prevent them from sustaining education, training or employment.
Since its launch, the programme has supported more than 700 children and young people across Glasgow with essentials such as digital access and data, food and fuel support, contributions to education trips, driving lessons and licences, and specialist training and development opportunities.
These small but critical interventions ensure that cost is never the barrier that holds a young person back from school, college, apprenticeships or work.
