PROPERTY WORTH £10,000 TAKEN IN DALTON HOUSE RAID

Police Scotland officers are investigating a break-in to a house at Murraythwaite, Dalton, Lockerbie which happened sometime between Saturday 19 and Saturday 26 March 2016.  Property stolen from the house includes silver candelabra, silver cups, a silver tray and wine coaster.  The value of the stolen property is in excess of £10,000.

Constable Stewart Hunter said “we need the help of the community to catch those responsible in this break-in at a house which was unoccupied at the time.  We are keen to hear about any sightings of vehicles in the area around Murraythwaite, Dalton, over last week or so, and again would want to hear about any suspicious activity in the area.  We ask local people, who live in and know this area to get in touch if they can recall anything which might assist us.  Callers can contact us at Lockerbie on the 101 number.
