£3000 WORTH OF GOODS STOLEN FROM DUMFRIES ELECTRICAL SUPERSTORE

Police Scotland officers in Dumfries are investigating the theft of electrical equipment to the value of around £3000 from the Currys Superstore in College Mains Road in Dumfries. The theft just before 1600 hours on Wednesday 27 September 2017. Around that time a man described as being 5’10” tall, with dark hair and wearing sunglasses and light coloured shirt and trousers was seen in the area where the theft took place in the store. He was joined by a man, described only as having long black receding hair with a beard and dark skin. After the two men left the theft was later discovered.

Constable Dale McEwan at Dumfries said “it appears that these two described men were acting together when this theft took place. The items stolen included Bose headphones, MP3 players and Dictaphones. We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the store last Wednesday to get in touch if they can remember seeing or hearing anything suspicious.
